Crevillente (in Valencian and officially, Crevillent) is a Spanish municipality and town belonging to the Valencian Community. It is located in the Bajo Vinalopó region, in the Crevillente mountain range, at an altitude of 129 meters, in the province of Alicante, and its proximity to the municipality of Elche allows it to form part of the Alicante-Elche metropolitan area. Crevillente has 28,952 inhabitants (INE 2019).

It has two major festivities: the Moors and Christians, declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest, along with the celebration of Holy Week, a Festival of International Tourist Interest. Crevillente has also stood out for its traditional carpet industry, which has given it the nickname of Carpet City.
