Fireworks after Las Hogueras: five magical nights over the sea

In Alicante, the party doesn’t end with the Cremà. Right after June 24th, the city hosts one of the most anticipated summer traditions: fireworks over the Mediterranean, lighting up the skies from June 25th to 29th.

This year, due to ongoing works at the Cocó breakwater, the fireworks will be launched from a new location: the elevated walkway at Pier 12 in the Port of Levante (Volvo area). The sea remains the perfect backdrop for this stunning show.

 Where to watch them?

If you want the best view, we recommend:

  • Postiguet Beach – the most popular spot, with a clear view of the launch site.

  • Mirador Virgen del Socorro or Ereta Park – elevated and quieter, ideal for a panoramic experience.

  • Santa Bárbara Castle – some nights offer exclusive dinners with front-row seats to the fireworks.

  • Volvo Zone / Ocean Race Museum area – perfect if you’re staying in the city centre.

Dates & fireworks companies

The shows take place every night at midnight, from June 25th to 29th:

  • Tuesday 25 – Pirotecnia Turís

  • Wednesday 26 – Fuegos Artificiales del Mediterráneo

  • Thursday 27 – Hermanos Ferrández (Beniel)

  • Friday 28 – Pirotecnia Gironina

  • Saturday 29 – Hermanos Sirvent

Expect traffic restrictions near the port from 10:00 p.m., and pedestrian access may be limited from 11:00 p.m. for safety reasons. Arrive early to secure a good spot!

Come and enjoy five magical nights full of colour, sound, and celebration. In Alicante, even the sky joins the party.

From Alicante Maravillas, we invite you to experience the show – and fall even more in love with this beautiful land!
